Food was of a good quality and arrived quickly after ordering. The mixed roast that I had was enjoyable, roast potatoes were a little dry but the mash was fantastic. Of the three times we've been it seems fairly consistent which is always a plus, staff are very polite and friendly even in the face of my very difficult Gran and have not had a major issue with any of the food.
Another excellent meal here, I meet up wih a few friends once a month for lunch...pleasant staff, nice ambiance and good food...what more could you want?
We went for a Xmas lunch. Which was a gift from a neighbour. The starter was ok and so was dessert but the main course left a lot to be desired probably what you'd expect from mass produced Xmas fare.
The afternoon tea was awe inspiring. Fantastic selection of very tasty morsels accompanied by lots of cake... Which is always a good thing. Well presented by very accommodating staff. Delicious
Decent pub food, nice and clean, with updated decor. However, the prices are on the steep side. I can understand paying higher prices for local produce and I'm personally happy to pay more for this. But...4.50 for a Pepsi? I don't even pay that much in London.
